Just checked it out.  Really cool.  The explanations are logical and essential to the learning process.

Having fun with this one.

Just want to say that I am learning so much from this site. Technically and practically.

I feel I have improved heaps since joining.

Dear Robert,

I guess I will be whole day playing. Very attractive and nice approach...

Please,  could be possible the backing track without the rhythmic guitar?. I want to strengthen the rhythmic part and I think this is a good time to start with.

Thank you so much.....

Just checked out the rhythm part, which is my weak point in playing the guitar.

You explained and showed it very well. I think I can play it, so I'll post soon of my playing, sorry no video though.

Oh, a mistake found. Dang. I'll update it eventually.

The progress indicator on the 14th bar says "iv" but it should be "V" chord... don't know how I missed that.

Is "Low Income Blues" on your course list?  I don't see it there yet.

Yeah Guitar Pro 6 can't read Guitar Pro 7 files. But I have added GP6 versions now to the Box folders.

This course is on the course list too now.

Guitar Pro 6 can not read Guitar Pro 7 files, but Guitar Pro 7 can read all versions, and it can also export to the older formats.

Update!

I have added more backing tracks for you! Go to the backing tracks folder on Box, and you will see 3 more variations:

  1. B Minor 105 BPM
  2. D minor 90 BPM
  3. Gm 90 BPM

So, I have an assignment for you. Take the original version, and move all the chords accordingly to a new key. This is a process called transposing. I can do it on the fly, because of all the years I’ve been playing. Sometimes I do it for the first time on stage… not the best idea, because there is still a risk of messing up, especially if the song has many chords.

Anyway, to get you started with this tune in B minor, the first 6 bars are now B minor instead of D minor - the “i" chord. Then, you finish the other chords, the “iv” chord and the “V” chord. Write each bar down on a piece of paper:

Bm | Bm | Bm | Bm
Bm | Bm | ?    | ?
…..

Do the same for G minor!

If you can’t do it or need a hint, let me know and I’ll help you out.

Hope you enjoy this course!
