My Man, hitting it hard on the TrueFire international jam!  Bravo, Robert!

And I like the way the guitar harem is in repose behind you.

Funny, I grabbed my PRS and comped while sitting on the porch swing.  Then when St James was played, I comped and thought, hey, this is the same swing where I recorded my St James on the iPad with my Taylor GS mini. Spinning wheel goes round and round..

Nice link placement, Chris.

RR, I wanted an encore but your time ran short.

Gotta say I listened to the whole live performance and you Robert really stood out.  Your performance was next level.  Totally in touch with your muse made it very engaging.  I didnt want it to end. Articulate phrasing, unparalleled tone and great choice in tracks.  Why havent we seen an album?

Thanks guys, some sloppiness overall in my opinion but it could have been worse! I had fun doing it and it was a good experience. Thanks for your support!

Yes but the sloppiness made it authentic.

I get nervous when performing. When I'm nervous, I'm extra sloppy (I was already sloppy to start with 🙂 ).

@robert @robert I dont think youre alone with that!  I think my performances are always lacking and need fine tuning. And turn the camera on and I immediately get nervous!

Hey Robert. I wasn’t able to catch your performance live but I just seen Chris’s posting of the video. You were awesome man. You really do have a unique, funky sound and style. I didn’t see or hear any nerves in your playing. That was straight from the heart buddy...bravo!

Robert,

If playing like that was sloppy, then I want to play sloppy... oh wait I already play sloppy... but not like you were playing!!! You sounded great... right on the mark. I think you are being hard on yourself.. I think we all do that.

I think youre right Chris,  we are all too hard on ourselves but at the same time we need to keep some perspective and have a clear ear.  Every performer has a sloppy moment,  but we keep smiling and rock on. Thats one aspect of learning.  Hear the mistakes and learn from them.

I personally would love some honest feedback instead of all the polite praise.  If you hear that a bend is slightly off or a note in the wrong place or timing is off then say something. { I hear those things in every performance I do) Always in a positive way,  but isnt that what we are here to do.  Manicure our performance and constructively support each other?  Why are we so frightened to say what we really hear.  Isnt this the forum for it?  I would respect other muso's much more knowing that they have an ear for music and could apply it.
