Hi Robert

Found your lesson for this great blues groove.

I play guitar in  Vocal/harp/guitar trio so need to keep the rhythm groove going all the time (no bass or drums...). It would be great to try and break it up a bit and add some interest (for the audience and me😀) by dropping in som licks/riffs but without killing the groove.

do you have any ideas on that pls?

thanks

Mark

Indeed, I am not Robert. But perhaps my suggestion can help.

I've got this problem too and currently I help myself breaking up boring chords by alternate them with different voicings all along the fretboard. There are a lot of effects I can use to make 12 bars interesting.

Attached an example. I hope you like it. and it's not too low-leveled what I am suggesting here....

Hi Gottfried

Thank you for your help and the useful chord sheet. I will certainly try and spice things up by using different Voicings for the chords. Great idea.

cheers

Mark
