The title should be self explanatory? According to this article this is now the fourth highest priced guitaar to sell in a public sales. At auction, etc.
Apparently Eddie gave it to his drum tech who gave it to his nephew who sold it to a guitar store. I will bet the nephew got no where near $3.9 million!
Do you think Chris @JestMe will let us play it a little bit after he gets it home and plays it some? 😉

Actually, I am planning to use it as a wall decoration I don't want to take a chance it might fall from the wall and get damaged, so I am screwing it right into the wall. If you want to play it, you should bring a screwdriver with you!
I know of a guy that bought one of Clapton's guitars from an auction. He was thrilled to see some fingerprints on it and imagined they were Clapton's fingerprints. He swore he would never clean them off that guitar. In all likelihood, I imagine the fingerprints were from auction staff, from when they took photos and shipped the guitar.
