Hi all,

I've been a member for a little over a year now and I have been playing guitar for around 30  years.

My influences are all over the map.

I love all styles of music including Rock, Blues, Jazz and everything in between.

Some of my heroes include:

Jeff Beck, Robben Ford, Mark Knopfler, Wes Montgomery, Alex Lifeson, John Scofield, Joe Satriani, Van Halen, Shawn Lane, Jimmy Herring, Al DiMeola, Robert Cray, Clapton, Allan Holdsworth, Ty Tabor, Bill Frisell, Trey Anastasio, David Gilmour, etc...

I could go on all day.

I am not in a working band right now as my young family and work take up most of my energy,  Not enough time to go around I'm afraid.

I really enjoy Robert's technique and affable personality.

I will try to post some videos soon and join in with the fine people on this forum.

Cheers and I look forward to growing my playing and meeting some new friends.

Hi! What should we call you?

Hey those are many of my influences as well

I hope you post some clips of you playing - it's one of the most beneficial things you'll ever do to your playing - recording yourself regularly, I mean.

Where do you live and what gear do you use? Tell us all your dirty secrets, haha! 🙂

Hi Robert,

You can call me Steve.

I live in Nashville, TN so of course I own a Tele-:)

It's an American Tele that I just put some Lollar pickups in and I love them.

I also have an American Strat with the new noiseless pickups, a Blueridge acoustic and a Taylor acoustic.

I use a Doctor Z amp head (Prescription Extra Strength) and a 2x12 Badcat cab.

I own and operate a post-production studio here in town.

I have worked on quite a lot of live music performance mixing and have had the opportunity to work with many great artists throughout the years.

Below is an attachment of my rig.

Thanks for the kind words Chris.

Steve

Looks like you got some great gear and a fun and exciting business. I figured with a handle like PulsePostAudio that you were indeed a member of the great Nashville music community.

Thanks for the details.

Nashville is a music town I have yet to visit- Glad to have your skills, enthusiasm and joy of the art here at the MGA.   Sounds like you are here for all the right reasons and I'm looking forward to adding your thoughts and music to the dialogue here.  BTW, nice summary of influences and gear!
