Been playing most of my life as a strummer/singer/campfire guy and want very much to learn to solo with intention and direction.  I know my major/minor pentatonic scales and recently started to tackle modes but that, I think will come together with many more hours of practice(hoping). I have trouble with recall when I learn licks so I started with the Bar Blues and will try to concentrate on first 12 bars of 6 licks but then I watched the Reconsidering Blues and I wanna learn that and then I watched St James Infirmary and I want to learn that.  Man I have a problem with focusing on one thing at a time cause you have lots of good lessons here.

It's a tough problem to have... so many cool solos and lessons to work on... I'm in the same boat as you are... including recalling licks and such... at least until I have played them a ton of times and then a few more times again!

I feel your pain! Good luck!

Each one of these lessons will teach you to fish rather than just give you a fish.  So, sit on the river bank, practice, take a swim and enjoy.  The water all flows in the same direction, just listen...
