Hey everyone.

I've just signed up after watching some of the short videos on YouTube. I really found the teaching style effective and I loved the neck viewpoint in some of the videos so thought I would give membership a try.

I started playing guitar when I was around 15 and learned a few songs, played a few gigs but never really pushed any further than that. Years went past, I played less and less, guitars got sold, wives got divorced and now at the age of 35 I am back, re-married, and with a new lust for learning.

My influences include Guns N Roses, SRV, Hendrix, Satriani, RATM, Clapton, Gary Moore, ACDC and many more.

I want to develop my lead work and really start to be fluid around the fretboard. It was the blues lessons on YouTube that brought me here. The SRV licks and blues scales were exactly what I was after to reinvigorate me after so long.

My current gear includes:

  • Fender FSR Strat HSS TBX Boost
  • Ibanez s470DXQM
  • PRS Custom 24 2017 SE
  • Taylor BT2
  • Marshall DSL 40cv
  • Orange Micro Dark Terror
  • Pedal board stuffed with goodies

Look forward to getting stuck in.

John - London, England.
