My name is Paul Kerans and I live in London Ontario. I’ve been playing a long time 35 plus years. Rock, blues, jazz and learning country. I’ve always been a rhythm acoustic player. Last 2 years I’ve been studying lead guitar and play in a,,, should I say a practice band. We have a band leader and he gives us direction, it’s lots of fun!

I have a new fender elite and a Simon and Patrick songsmith acoustic. I’m new to lead and all the effects that go with it. I have a tube screamer, mxr compression and a loop pedal. My amp is a traynor 2. I also been playing harmonica for a year.

I want to take my playing to next level and your site is interesting indeed. I like the idea of keeping a practice log, this is logical a approach!

Paul

Welcome, Paul!  That band practice is priceless experience in musicianship.  And my mantra has been, how can you play solo if you don't know the rhythm?  Sounds like you're in the right place to put all those skills to use as perfect foundation for solo work.

Welcome aboard Paul. You'll find lots of great material to work on your leads here. I think you'll have lots of fun.

Your practice ban sounds really cool... wish I had one to work [practice] with!

Have fun

Welcome Paul! Glad to have you here. Record often, practice often, and share recordings often. 🙂
