Definitely cool insights, Clayton. A very enriching video and very positively surprising to hear when he talked about his new sound and his new rig: „I tend to play more passionately without the help, I tend to be a little more straightforward“ (06:13).

I like his „old school approach“ (25:08), that you don’t necessarily need an insanely expensive guitar: „just got to find a piece of gear that you have a symbiotic relationship with and just spend time learning the sounds that come out of these things.“

And when is comes to the guitar players development (30:58):

„Playing in tune is one of the hardest things you’ll ever have to learn.“
