Right now, I'm working with Google to get it back. I was afraid I'd lose my email account but they helped me get that back. I've got so much important stuff in there - very scary!
My YouTube channel now says it's terminated. However, I think they will restore it for me. It may take a day or two. In the meantime, I'll await the next steps with trepidation. I can not sleep well - I'm up in the middle of the night right now, which is good because Google contacted me while I was asleep.
This happened because the hijackers tricked me. I will tell the full story later. I did not expect anyone could trick me this way because I'm very careful online. Yet they did. A big lesson learned for me.

Well, I got it all back the next day. I was up until 5am... but later in the day, Google restored my access and control over my YouTube channel.
Funny thing is that I ran an 8km race the day after I was up all night... and I had the best/fastest race of the season!
