My story

This summer I found myself with no computer. I posted something about it on the forum because I knew I was not going to be active till I get a computer.

Robert read about my situation and contacted me. Yes, my story is one that is somewhat unbelievable so I'll explain it in a bit.

He wrote to me and told me about computers overseas (USA). I explain to him a little about me and my situation and he understood.  In the mean time I decided to check out the computers here. Of course it was sticker shock. There was no way that I wanted to pay such prices for a computer. ( believe it or not, computers are priced higher here then in the States, something I had no clue about )

Well, over time I decided to look over the email Robert sent me about computers. I had no other choice but to change my thoughts if I were to get a computer.

So I wrote back to Robert and told him, something like... OK , lets do something.  We probably went through 3 computers before I decided on one. In the process Robert told me about interfaces, something I only knew the name but had no idea what it does.

So I needed a computer and an interface. Wow! How am I going to buy it, I have no credit card.

This is where Roberts kindness and helping hand comes in. He was able to arrange the purchase for me and get it shipped to Japan. Of course, there's a bit more to this story...

But if it weren't for Robert extending a hand when someone needed help, I wouldn't be writing this.

The thing was, I had the cash, but no one accepts cash but Robert.

Thanks Robert and Happy New Year

Joe, I’m deeply impressed.

Without Robert’s support you couldn‘t have done this sweet and touching song. That’s a wonderful message at the end of 2020.

Happy New Year, Birgit
