There are 2 different Guitar Pro files in there. The one that ends in .gp is for Guitar Pro 7. The one with .gpx is for Guitar Pro 6.

Choose wisely. 🙂

Hmm, .gpx files are Guitar Pro 6 files... not sure what else I can say?

Describe exactly your steps and what happens and I will try to help.

Does anyone else have problems opening this .gpx file here? https://app.box.com/folder/36948709576

It's cool, don't worry too much. Gp6 says there was an error trying to open this file.

I can open other gpx files just fine. Kinda weird. I assume you can open it.

Anyway I have used sound slice to practice.

It just would be nice to have the gpx file for practice off-line.😊

Great solo! You have great taste!

Both the gp and gpx files are working for me... GP7 & GP6 respectively.

1st thought is... could it have gotten corrupted in the download... did you try downloading the file again...?

I didn't have a problem with both files either.

Sometimes when I write something in GP6 it won't open later in GP6, but it will open in GP7.

When that happens I export the file from GP7 as a GP6 file and it opens fine in Gp6.

Don't know why, but it has saved me from having to re-write the piece on several occasions.
