Had a really great practice day today.

Warmed up over many of Roberts Backing tracks and applied a few of the concepts and ideas that have been floating around MGA, such as closing the eyes.  What a difference THAT makes! A whole new level of sensitivity.  Really opened me up to new fields of restraint and feeling. (Had to peek occasionally as I would get lost HA!).  Anyhoo, I recorded a slow blues in G over a friends backing track called Baby talkin' G.  As usual unless otherwise stated all of my recordings are done in one take as I am working towards live performance and need to get it right first time!!

Here'tis. https://app.box.com/s/ioihxy662rmjzj79ojcdqubn776maj9j

I can hear the feel of fingers freed from visual bondage.  Really, that's a beauty sound of inspiration without the tether of relying on those cues.  Good on you for branching out and finding more inside.  That's a powerful approach to finding your voice.

And hats off to the backing track, excellent support for your playing.

Craig. Just like Esteban's recent track, I hear a lot of dynamics applied in tone and speed, that really gives the music it's own unique signature and draws the ear of audience.  Tellin' a Story with tone, time and fingers!

Hi Bob

I don't hear any influences of other artist in you signature style of playing. Congrats on that. I think once I hear more of your music I'll be able to say "yep" that's Bob with the first or second note being played.

I've always felt that a true musician playing from their heart,  regardless of how good  one is, can be one by having their own signature style of playing and you've  my friend nailed it on the fretboard.
