Marty Balin: RIP Great, great vocalist and I'd argue really the distinct sound of Jefferson Airplane and later even some Starship although I do recall Marty bugging out of Jefferson Airplane very early on..............but any way you shake it............we've lost another great artist/singer/songwriter and original character who really stoked the LA mid 60s culture!!
