Hi my friends, I am leaving for Victoria today. I will be running the Canadian Half Marathon Championships on Sunday. My daughter lives there and I have some friends there too I'll be visiting. Looking forward to it! It's a beautiful place and I want to move there eventually.
I'll post some photos for you. I'll be back on Wednesday!

I completely exceeded my expectations with a 1:21:40 time.
Half an hour before race start, the lineups for the porta-potties were insane. Hundreds of people in line.
I shamelessly ran to the first hotel I could find and asked if I could use the bathroom. They said, sure no problem. What a relief! That saved my day, no doubt.
My mom always told me, "never leave your mouth at home". She was right.

Great reaction, Robert.
I've always had a horror of the lines for the porta-potties, too. Only at my home marathon I knew my way around and where to find another restroom at a nearby lido.
